My Fall Break

So last week happened to be a short week, thankfully. Friday was a national holiday I think, and the schools just take off Wednesday and Thursday also. Some fellow ESI teachers and I decided to make the most of our break and our time in Europe by visiting a country most Americans certainly couldn't point out on a map. And no I'm not talking about the Czech Republic. I had no clue where it was until we started to think about going there. The country was Slovenia. So we booked train tickets through Bratislava to Vienna where we bought tickets into Slovenia. We stayed a little over a day in the capital city, Ljubljana, and an afternoon in the resort town of Bled. It was beautiful, but I will let you be the judge when you see the pictures below. We came back by way of Vienna and got to spend a few hours seeing the sites around there. We arrived back in Prague early Saturday morning. So over all a successful vacation, or "holiday" if you are a Czech student. Back to school. Now I must research the British political system so that I have something to teach tomorrow. Until next time...
